Award-winning, top 50 independent UK law firm Burges Salmon has successfully upgraded its digital solution from Sitecore v8.2 to v10 and moved hosting into Azure Cloud - an update that will see the firm ready to deliver best-in-class digital enhancements and continuously improve its online presence.
UNRVLD has partnered with Burges Salmon since 2015, redeveloping the firm’s digital strategy and ensuring its Sitecore platform is fit for purpose. As a business, this is our first Sitecore version 10 upgrade and the solution was delivered on time and on budget. Burges Salmon has a legacy web-forms solution not MVC, so upgrading it to version 10 came with several challenges which the team worked hard to overcome. Despite facing learnings and unknowns along the way, we successfully released the upgraded site onto new PaaS infrastructure without a hitch. With a still freshly-merged team behind us, this is an incredible feat and is a true representation of what we are capable of achieving.
