New Era Cap, the world’s biggest headwear brand, has successfully upgraded its e-commerce solution from Optimizely Customized Commerce 13 to Commerce 14 on .Net 6 framework.

UNRVLD delivered the upgrade which looks to elevate the online shopping journey, powering all e-commerce functionality across New Era Cap’s Direct to Consumer (D2C) website.  

We've partnered New Era Cap since 2018 on a growth retainer, focused on delivering business outcomes for the brand. A key part of the programme is ensuring that New Era Cap’s Optimizely platform is fit for purpose. As an agency, this is our first Commerce 14 upgrade and, despite facing learnings and unknowns along the way, it has been launched without a hitch.

With the upgrade, New Era Cap will be looking at all round faster website performance. Optimizely promises 4X better response time and 5X faster commerce operations, with the core code update to .Net 6. Plus, the upgrade includes the new Commerce Administration view - an application which has replaced the legacy Commerce Manager administration backend. The new user interface offers a unified and improved user experience, providing support for working with markets, warehouses, catalogue indexing, tax configuration, shipping and payments.

New Era Cap will look to capitalise on the new upgrade in the coming months with some impressive site enhancements, using the cutting-edge technology to drive e-commerce performance. With a user-centric approach, this upgrade is set to empower New Era Cap to build stronger connections with their customers and ultimately drive revenue growth.
