The Optimizer Awards aim to recognize Optimizely customers who show outstanding achievements in digital innovation and creativity. They are awarded to forward-thinking organizations who are leveraging Optimizely tools in exciting ways to go beyond the conventional, unlocking digital potential and forging paths for others to do the same.

Small changes, big results
NEC appointed Made to Engage in 2019, and immediately committed to a programme of continuous improvements, applied to every facet of the digital experience. This comprehensive, rigorous approach to UI experiments and iteration has manifested big results.
Since then, they’ve experienced more than 60% year-on-year growth, culminating in 2021 when their peak season – from Black Friday to Christmas – surpassed all previous expectations. A combination of great products, beautifully merchandised, and powered by Optimizely’s DXP Commerce platform did exactly what it was supposed to do - and more.
We’re just getting started
Due to Covid-19 we’ve only been able to meet in person twice during the past two years, but with fantastic teams on both sides that hasn’t stopped us from building a strong relationship with New Era.
Following a successful suite of initial optimisation experiments, New Era Cap and Made to Engage have doubled down on customer data and site wide experimentation building on this success with an exciting roadmap for 2022.
